As per IT Home’s report, the recent release of some FCC documents reveals that Google has planned to secretly test the 6GHz band in 17 states of the U.S. This was expected to arrive by the end of 2020, and a couple of months are still left for the testing to take place effectively. The 6GHz band is expected to yield faster outputs by fully using the frequency spectrum and providing reliable broadband connections. The list of 26 Cities and towns in 17 states of the U.S where testing has already begun: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. The test is supposed to last for 24 months for a final stable spectrum. And at present, there are no further developments available in the public domain.
