MobilityArena Buyer’s Guide Verdict
The Cygnus X is AfriOne’s first foray into the mid-range market. We love that it has a 6.5″ display, fingerprint scanner, face unlock, rear dual camera, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and 4000mAh battery, and if it includes 4G support, it is perfect. If not, this is a bad deal.
If real life performance and durability matches expectations (in addition to 4G LTE), Afrione Cygnus X will help the brand solidify its place in the minds of consumers. We are bothered though that the processor is unspecified by AfriOne. Undisclosed specs usually mean unimpressive specs. Our Buyer’s Guide Verdict is recommendation that we make based on our evaluation the specs of the device. It is a general guide designed to help you understand how much value a smartphone offers for its price. It is not a stamp of quality assessment or an endorsement of the device or of the manufacturers. Be sure to ask questions and use your judgement when buying any device, as MobilityArena may not be held responsible for your buying decisions.
